Dr Rosalind Kay McKenna (née Humphreys)

I conducted my PhD research at the University of St Andrews and was based in the Centre for Biological Diversity. My research focussed on the behavioural and evolutionary ecology of interactions between species, with a particular focus on predator-prey interactions. Specifically, I investigated the search strategies of predatory invertebrates and a widespread, but understudied, antipredator defence: dropping behaviour.
